The staff were always friendly and courteous. The only slight downside was that the room was on the main road.
My biggest gripe was that when we got there the hotel had not been informed by yourselves that we had made a booking. Luckily even though it was Easter weekend they were still able to accommodate us. This is not nthe first time this has happened to me when booking UK breaks with you. But to be fair I don't have problems when I book Mainland european hotels with yourselves. Do you have seperate teams which look after the European and domestic bookings? Your response would be much appreciated
The abilitity to book a half board basis. This took away the hassle of having to find somewhere to eat when we arrived.
Staff very friendly and helpful, the food was great tasting and great value in the tavern, something for all the family.
On arrival allocated room didnt have cot as asked however were quick to rectify, the room was small but as we discovered at breakfast the following day we should have been in a different room! They were very apologetic and soon rectified it and the room we got was great as needed room for cot and the bathroom facility was much better.
Hello, As we only stayed for one night we dont really have an opinion it suited us as we were visiting family in the area, and the price was good.
Convenient location to go to nearby town and motorway. Big bath room
Large size of bedroom with comfortable chairs, good lighting, decent tv, enormous bath. Availability of excellent bar food and comprehensive full English breakfast in the diningroom. Spacious parking, with good lawns and rosebeds. Everything immaculately kept, and the staff seemed really keen to answer every request.
Paper table napkins!
Warm welcome and courteous help in changing from inadequate room (v small and only window was of frosted glass at high level) to one that was very satisfactory although bathroom tile grouting was a bit tired. Food in Bar Restaurant was very good both in quality and cost. Breakfast was very satisfactory although service on the first day was a somewhat 'dozy'. Would stay again if in the area.
The rooms were tastefully decorated and good size. Plenty of parking
Rooms not as clean as expected- found some old tights in a draw. Breakfast hit and miss- Sunday perfect amount, Monday must of been rationing day! Bed extremely noisy, can't even roll over without everyone knowing. Tavern- don't buy the sirloin steak, was just a average size lump of fat which was very overpriced, need to look at suppliers because that was never a piece of sirloin; however other food in there was great. Tried to charge us more for the room rate then I booked on Booked.net. Brassiere was closed but no idea why and didn't know before we booked!
The bedrooms had recently been decorated and had new furniture.
Exterior really old and rough.
The hotel was very easy to find and parking very good. Our room large and spacious and very clean. Breakfast was plentyful and a good selection. Found this hotel very good for a touring holiday easy access for Lake District, Cumbria and Trough of Bowland .Next time we are in this area we would not hesitate to stay at The Crofters Hotel again most comfortable and a great price for your pocket! Staff friendly and efficient. Enjoyed our four day stay very much.
Found no fault with the hotel whatsoever. Good Value Hotel
The location for the fylde coast was excellent. The staff were courteous and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The bar/restaurant was great with real ales on offer at a very reasonable price. The food was superb. Freshly cooked and very well presented, remembering that this is a pub/resyaurant and not a 5 star gourmet restaurant.
The hotel is a little tired and is furnished circa 1970. The dining room has a 70's G-plan look. The bedroom was large, roomy and furnished in a Blackpool landlady sit-com style, all brown furniture and multi pattern carpet. The bed was very comfortable but we weren't sure wether it was a large single or a small double. It was the closest I have been to my wife for years. Great fun and a lovely night and great value for money.
I liked the friendliness of the staff and I thought the food was good.
I think the hotel is looking a bit tired and could do with some internal re-decoration in due course.
Very helpful on arrival and a late check out of an hour, food was excellant
Friendly staff. Nice food in attached pub.
Ancient uncomfortable bed. Poor sound proofing from late arrivals.
We just had a two day break using the Crofters Hotel for the first time. We enjoyed our stay and could not complain about any part of our stay. The Hotel is close to the Market town of Garstang. The Hotel is, also, close to the beautiful Trough of Bowland. We will stay at this hotel again.
